CIAT Program

KOICA’s fellowship program (CIAT) is Korea’s leading human resources development (HRD) training program where KOICA invites civil officials, engineers, researchers, and policymakers in developing countries who will lead economic and social growth of their countries and provide capacity-building pieces of training focusing on sharing Korea’s experience and technology for development.

KOICA launched the fellowship program “CIAT” to support leaders of developing countries in different areas to bring their countries’ economic and social growth.

CIAT stands for “Capacity Improvement & Advancement for Tomorrow”, meaning an individual’s capacity development for a better future, and the advancement of their organizations and policies.
