Hospital Equipment Support

In August 2023, hospital equipment support and a knowledge dissemination seminar were held at the Buzuruga Health Center in Mwanza, Tanzania. 🏥

During the event, KOAT supported a recently built female’s ward by donating 10 hospital beds. Dr. Abdu Jumba Bhombo, who completed the KOICA training program, ‘Capacity Building in Blood Transfusion Services’ in 2017, shared his knowledge of KOICA health projects, training experience, and the importance of blood tests for pregnant women.

Mr. William Ntinginya, the Medical in Charge at Buzuruga Health Center, and Mr. Renatus Mulunga, the mayor of Ilemela district, Mwanza, expressed gratitude for the support, highlighting the more effective healthcare services that have been made possible after the hospital equipment support from KOICA and KOAT.
