2nd Knowledge Sharing Seminar and Korean Culture Day Event
On June 26, the 2026 KOICA Global Fellowship Alumni 2nd Knowledge Sharing Seminar and Korean Culture Event was successfully held at the National College of Tourism (NCT) in Dar es Salaam.
In the morning, a KOICA Global Fellowship alumnus delivered a knowledge dissemination seminar, sharing insights into the development of Korea’s film industry, the social and economic value of cultural industries, and opportunities for future cultural cooperation between Korea and Tanzania.
In the afternoon, participants enjoyed a variety of Korean cultural experiences, including Korean food making, traditional games, writing their names in Hangul, trying on Hanbok, and a Korean photo exhibition. A K-Beauty Class, hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, also attracted enthusiastic participation.
The KOICA Tanzania Office will continue working closely with the KOICA Global Fellowship Alumni Network to promote knowledge sharing, strengthen cultural exchange, and further enhance the friendship and cooperation between Korea and Tanzania.
